Maharashtra Revises Minimum Wages for Scheduled Employments

The Government of Maharashtra has revised the minimum rates of wages applicable to various scheduled employments in the State. The revised rates are applicable from 1 August 2026 to 31 January 2027. The notification prescribes revised wage rates for different employment and worker categories, with the wage structure comprising Basic Rate, Special Allowance and Total Minimum Wage. The rates vary according to the applicable employment, category and skill level of workers. The notification sets out the revised rates across the scheduled employments covered under the Maharashtra minimum wage framework for the specified period.
